So You’re a Successor Trustee… Now What?
At some point, you may be asked to help a loved one distribute their assets after they pass - perhaps from a parent, sibling or very close friend.
If you’re a newly appointed successor trustee or the administrator/executor of a probate, there is a lot on your plate. Not only are you most likely grieving the loss of a loved one, but you now have the responsibility of wrapping up their personal and financial affairs on your shoulders, a responsibility you may not have signed up for, and a mountain of work you probably don’t have the time or energy to tackle. It is a whole lot and can feel very overwhelming.
